Jenny Ouellet is a Quebec-based painter living in Montreal. Her work explores the tensions between destruction and resilience, combining abstraction and figuration to evoke environmental, societal, and perceptual phenomena rooted in contemporary realities.

She studied sculpture at Concordia University. Her pictorial practice is built around a personal visual language influenced by her background in computer science, where structure and instinct coexist within modular, geometric compositions. Her work offers a sensitive reflection on the relationships between order and chaos.

Her work has been exhibited in Canada, France, and England, notably at the Maison de la culture Mercier in Montreal and at Domaine Trinity in the Eastern Townships. In 2025, she was selected to exhibit at the London Art Biennale.

A member of the RAAV since 2015, she continues an engaged pictorial research addressing the major issues of our time.
