Jenny Ouellet is a self-taught Quebec painter based in Montreal. Her work explores the tensions between destruction and resilience, combining abstraction and figuration to address environmental, social, and perceptual issues rooted in contemporary realities.

Initially trained in sculpture at Concordia University, she has developed a personal pictorial language influenced by her background in computer science. Structure and instinct intersect in modular, geometric compositions that reflect on the balance between order and chaos.

Her work has been exhibited in Canada, France, and Portugal, including solo exhibitions at Maison de la culture Mercier (Montreal) and Domaine Trinity (Quebec). In 2025, she was selected to exhibit at the London Art Biennale. A member of RAAV since 2015, she continues to pursue a socially and conceptually engaged painting practice.
